Shout At The Devil! [Halloween Party] Band members and friends invited

Zack had decided that he wanted to do something for Halloween now that he'd gotten his new costume and being a Spider-Man fan he'd gone for a Spider-Punk costume straight from his comics. He'd gotten it at a local comic store down on the Strip and couldn't wait to show Damien because he knew the Dog didn't have comics or anything fun back in Hunger City. Zack now pleased that he'd arranged a Halloween Party for the band members, their friends and family to attend inside the communal area of the apartments. It was the biggest space and there was a bar all stocked up with spooky drinks, alcoholic and non-alcoholic alike.

It would be a blast!

There were even spooky snacks with crisps and chips shaped like bats, ghosts and pumpkins. There were even actual pumpkins on a table for those who wished to carve a pumpkin alone or with friends. Zack had tried to make it accessible for all, those who wished to party and get drunk and those who wanted to do non-boozy activities too.

As for costumes---they were optional but preferred.

"Ok, I think that's it. Everyone should be arriving soon."

Zack looking around the room and hoping everyone would like what he had set-up with help from some of the others of course.

Damien had helped with the decorations and brought Jack's children since Rekker had agreed to take them out trick or treating with his students earlier in the evening. Damien didn't have a costume but at some point Aarne Aarne had put some cat ears on his head. He didn't argue. There was no point.

He came up to find Zack first with a well deserved drink. "I took care of all the high up decorations you asked me to." Damien accepted that his ability to climb and his height meant he was often recruited to decorate.

"Thanks for putting up the high decorations. I couldn't reach even if I jumped."

Zack pushed some of his curls away from his face and leant up to kiss his tall boyfriend, before taking the drink offered to him. The Brit noticing the cat ears now sat atop the Dog's head. Was this Aarne? It had to be. Who else would put cat ears on someone's head? Zack pointed to the ears smirking.

"Aarne? They are cute but really they should be dogs ears since you're a Dog."

"Any time." He replied while pressing a kiss to Zack's cheek. He knew that Zack was going to have the time of his life tonight even if Damien wasn't very much into costumes.

"Aarne says it was because I land on my feet." Damien chuckled since Aarne had already given that excuse.

Zack wasn't going to get drunk of course, but did want to mingle with the others and see what costume creations the band members had come up with. He'd just walk around as Spider-Punk looking cool with his web shooters that Tony Stark had helped modify.

"You do land on your feet and are more like Spider-Man than me."

The drummer had to admit that because Damien was so nimble and agile. That part he was slightly envious of.

"I wonder who will come tonight."

"You look better in the costume." Damien encouraged. He appreciated Zack's creativity even if he often had no idea what character Zack was talking about.

"I heard Davy mention that there would be more musicians from LA." Damien wasn't sure who and the musician part was a bit of an assumption.

"Thanks. It's a little tight around my ass but the elastic does it's job."

Unlike Joe's devil costume which looked obscene around his ass and crotch area. Maybe that was the whole idea. Of course it was. Zack slipped a hand into Damien's because he liked being close to the Dog.

"Davy? I haven't spoken to him yet but Sam is his drummer. He's even more shy than me."

Damien had noticed where the costume was tight. "Is it tighter than your jeans?" Damien had to tease because the drummer did wear tight jeans a lot, though not as tight as some.

"I'm surprised the two of you aren't friends." Damien noticed that a lot of the drummers seemed to be quiet and shy. Maybe that shyness was what kept them from talking to each other.

"My jeans? I don't think so."

Zack just began to blush because Damien thought his jeans were tight, possibly showing off things they shouldn't. Not as tight as Joe's though---they were obscene! The drummer laughed and then wondered about Davy.

"Maybe I should talk to Sam and get to know him. Others have said he's quite shy like me."

At least Zack wasn't the shyest person on the tour anymore.

"Did you want to carve a pumpkin with me?"

"I like your tight jeans."

Damien couldn't help admitting it after he saw that blush starting. He would never say they showed off things they shouldn't because Damien definitely wanted to continue looking.

"You should. I saw him here with Syn." Damien thought it would be good for Zack to know more people like himself, that were quieter.

"We can." Damien was good with a knife so carving wouldn't be that hard.

Of course, Minoru had seen Damien not that long ago. Just because he won American Ninja Warrior didn’t mean he was going to rest on his laurels. He had to qualify next year just like everybody else, so it was right back to the usual training schedule.

Heck, it was one of the few places that he could go to escape people acting weird around him. In his home world, he was a reclusive celebrity (they didn’t know he didn’t live in that universe). In the Nexus, his coworkers were still wondering why he hadn’t quit and his brother was still giving him the silent treatment any time he wanted to talk about doing something with said money. Even in Ziggy’s world, he felt a little out of place, suddenly being just like all the other rock stars. Even if he never admitted it to anyone but Martyn.

But in Hunger City, they still treated him like an honorary Pup. When he was there to train, nothing else mattered.

“Hey!” Minoru waved, laughing. “A dog dressed up as a cat? That’s s good one.”

It helps that Damien's world didn't have much concept of money outside of the Ministry cities. They would respect a win at a physically demanding event but the money wouldn't be an issue, or even something that some of them would understand.

"Minoru." Damien smiled but it faded to an unusual expression for the Dog, one of defeat. "Aarne insisted."

They didn't have holidays so they are still new to the Dog so he hadn't dressed up but Zack's love of comics helped him understand some of the costumes at least.

That’s what mattered most to Minoru. The achievement of scaling Mount Midoriyama, something that only three other people had been able to say. No one, though, had ever been able to do it twice. And that, for obvious reasons, was Minoru’s next goal.

“They look good.” He chuckled. “Think of it like a disguise.”

Did those fool Ministry cameras? Maybe this could be a new tactic or something.

“Oh! Guess what! The American Ninja Warrior folks reached out to me last week. They’re doing a special run on Christmas for charity! I get to run the course again!” He beamed. “Okay, so not the WHOLE course, just the first stage. But still, that’ll be so much fun!”

Damien looked as unimpressed by the comment as he was with Aarne's persistence. He wasn't really someone who could disguise themselves; here or in his own world. His height and features were too remarkable, as were his yellow eyes.

Damien started to laugh. "Maybe I should register so you have competition." He was both teasing and complimenting Minoru's abilities. Damien thought it might be fun to try and compete even if it might be cheating since he wasn't as human as they expected.

“Well, you probably wouldn’t have any problem faking an ID on my world.” Minoru and Isamu could both thank Damien for the cards that made them at least look like they belonged here whenever they visited. “There might be other issues, though…”

Not being entirely human, for one. Minoru was honestly surprised no one had really picked up on the fact that he didn’t really even live in that dimension. He wasn’t sure he wanted to know what would happen if they did.

But his tone had regret in it. Because, although there was a good chance he’d lose to his coach, it would be a thrill to test his skills against Damien. It would be even more of a thrill to go head to head against him at the same time. Ninja vs Ninja.

…maybe he should suggest that for a future show.

"I could already exist there." Damien answered to that hanging thought. It was on his mind even in this universe though, with a Ziggy here, he could surmise that it would be years before he was born and without a Ministry might never exist.

He could also sense the negative emotions there too and shook his head. "I wouldn't want to take your crown so quickly. You should have time to enjoy it." Damien knew it would be a challenge and there was a chance he could lose. After all, a lot of their training was not just skill but testing Minoru's speed against himself.

“Oh! I’m not worried about you taking it!” He quickly clarified.

Win or lose against Damien, and it would still be a night to remember. It’d probably be the best run of his year!

“…it’s just that you’re from another world… and not, well, fully human either. My world doesn’t have aliens or angels or, well… anything like that. If they disqualify you, and you’re my coach… um… I don’t want to be the first person to be stripped of Total Victory.”

He hoped Damien wouldn’t take offense. He legitimately wanted to run against him. But it was like outing Ziggy as an alien here. It wasn’t safe.

"Do you think they would know?" Damien asks with concern. He'd never considered that here and no one really noticed. No one had ever asked about anything except some random questions here and there about his golden eyes.

Viktor coming as his stage name.....THE DEVIL. Meeting up with Damien, Jack and possibly some Dogs.

Viktor thought he looked a bit of a fucking twat dressed up like this but Billy said it suited his stage name Viktor "The Devil." So, the punk was now adjusting some of his cloak as he walked in wearing heavy black boots along with his devil costume. He had some of his firebombs attached to his thick leather belt hanging around his waist since he never went anywhere without them, as he lit up a smoke, careful that he was now a fucking walking napalm.

"Where's the fucking party?"

The Brit now looking around for bottles of vodka that he could chug down. He spotted the tall, thin outline of Damien and then saw the shock of red hair which was Ziggy's brother, Jack.

"You alright, Jack? Getting some booze in, mate?"

Jack was used to dealing with people like Viktor. Damien turned around and eyed the firebombs but said nothing. The Dog couldn't say anything about weapons when he carried a gun and a big knife everywhere.

"People keep bringing me drinks." Jack admitted. He had no idea what he had drank already and was currently drinking some neon green concoction that one of the others had given him.

Viktor adjusted some of the string on one of his firebombs just below his belt buckle so that it stayed on better. He was happy how the costume turned out even if he still felt a fucking idiot.

"Maybe it's because everyone knows you can drink shitloads and still remain standing. The drinks are potions or something. This is all Zack's idea and I think he's done a really nice job."

The punk was pleased his drummer had the imagination to think up this kind of thing on Halloween. Maybe it was all those comics he read.

"How about a drinking contest, mate? Me and you? Maybe some of the others if they want in. I can't see Joe saying no either. He drinks like a fucking fish too."

Damien was watching Viktor and noticed the constant adjustment. "You need a better way to carry those."

Jack looked to Damien and then to Viktor before grinning. These two absolutely needed to work with weapons and bombs.

"If you want to end up on the floor.' Jack teased and smirked at the blonde Brit.

"You think so? Maybe you're fucking right. The string feels a bit weak and needs to be stronger."

Viktor had tried to attach his bombs using other means but had failed so far. Maybe leather straps or something else? He didn't want a bomb to slip and smash onto the floor wasting the fuel inside. That, or catching the place alight.

"Oh yeah? Want to take me on, ginger? Do it."

"We carry moltovs sometimes." Damien could definitely get the punk a better method given a few days.

Jack shrugged and Damien just stared at Viktor because this wasn't going to end well. Jack got a drinking glass and filled it to the top with vodka, one for himself and one for Viktor. He offered one to the Brit.

"Here." Then Jack drank the whole glass of Vodka like it was a shot. "You better catch up."

"Fucking decent. I don't go anywhere without them, mate."

Viktor touched a few of his bombs around his belt and grinned before focusing on what Jack was giving him. Right, a drinking contest. Fucking cool. The punk did know things might end up getting crazy, so he removed his molotov belt gently and placed it down just in case he fell.

"I don't want to end up smashing my bombs if I fall down drunk."

Not that the punk would let that happen. Of course not. Drinking with Ziggy's brother would be fun with Viktor now downing his vodka the same as Jack.

"Let's do this."

Damien offered to take his bombs and keep them safe until Viktor was sober enough to handle them.

"Damien, you may want to get Gloria." Jack mentioned and this time poured them both shots. He knew a human could get very sick if they went too fast.

"You're not the first to try this."
