Zack had decided that he wanted to do something for Halloween now that he'd gotten his new costume and being a Spider-Man fan he'd gone for a Spider-Punk costume straight from his comics. He'd gotten it at a local comic store down on the Strip and couldn't wait to show Damien because he knew the Dog didn't have comics or anything fun back in Hunger City. Zack now pleased that he'd arranged a Halloween Party for the band members, their friends and family to attend inside the communal area of the apartments. It was the biggest space and there was a bar all stocked up with spooky drinks, alcoholic and non-alcoholic alike.

It would be a blast!

There were even spooky snacks with crisps and chips shaped like bats, ghosts and pumpkins. There were even actual pumpkins on a table for those who wished to carve a pumpkin alone or with friends. Zack had tried to make it accessible for all, those who wished to party and get drunk and those who wanted to do non-boozy activities too.

As for costumes---they were optional but preferred.

"Ok, I think that's it. Everyone should be arriving soon."

Zack looking around the room and hoping everyone would like what he had set-up with help from some of the others of course.

Before the City Charms show, Jake had invited both Dee and Jay to the apartments. Truth be told, they felt a little awkward intruding on the biggest collection of musicians (local and visiting) in their literal homes. But a halloween party seemed the perfect time to mix and mingle.

Anyone who got a hold of a demo for The Prophet would recognize them from the artwork. Both Dee and Jay looked like they crawled out of a post-apocalyptic rock and roll fantasy - studded leather, hair teased, face marked with war paint. (something sort of like this)

Whether they’d gone to the right address was quickly answered by the sheer amount of noise already coming from the complex.

“I’ve got a good feeling about this.” Dee smiled, looking up at his fiancé, who was pushing his wheelchair across the parking lot.

“Let’s have some fun tonight.” He smiled.

A party with their many rockstar friends? No way was Minoru going to miss that. He was even able to drag Isamu out of the lab. (But apparently not out of a lab coat.)

As the door opened, Minoru waved and grinned. “Check it out! I’m Frankenstein!”

It was a classic monster costume, green face paint, the stereotypical bolts on the side of the neck, the suit Ziggy made for him hanging open.

“For the last time, you are not Frankenstein. I am Frankenstein. Frankenstein was name of the doctor, not the monster.” Isamu insisted, proving that he was, in fact, in a costume.

Given that the only difference between his Dr. Frankenstein costume and his normal attire was how messed up his hair was, it would be easy to think he just came straight from a long day at IRIS.

Damien had helped with the decorations and brought Jack's children since Rekker had agreed to take them out trick or treating with his students earlier in the evening. Damien didn't have a costume but at some point Aarne Aarne had put some cat ears on his head. He didn't argue. There was no point.

He came up to find Zack first with a well deserved drink. "I took care of all the high up decorations you asked me to." Damien accepted that his ability to climb and his height meant he was often recruited to decorate.

Sven had heard about the Halloween party being put on inside the communal area and had gone to put together a costume because he couldn't miss out. No way. He had to dress up and impress Davy with his muscles of course.

"I have the POWER!"

The Swede now lifting up a prop sword dressed as non other than the movie version He-Man. He knew Davy would go weak at the knees in this costume, considering it was mostly a loincloth and boots. Laughing, he wondered who else would show up because Sven wanted to get trashed.

Mick was busy adjusting his big belt buckle on his tight faded blue jeans as he walked into the communal area, looking around for others. His leather boots making a jingling noise with the spurs attached at the heel. He felt a little silly dressed up but then he did have the hat and boots already so made a good cowboy. For once he'd left his guitar safely back in it's case under his bed because cowboys didn't have electric guitars, did they? Instead, he had two prop guns holstered at either side of his hips slung on a bullet belt.

"I hope I don't look like a bloody fool wearing this get-up."

Mick mumbling to himself because Weird had told him to go as a cowboy along with Hans. It couldn't be that bad could it? The jeans were a bit on the snug side and he hoped he didn't split the seams when he sat down.

Niko loved a party and right now he was coming as a pirate. More, a rock star pirate, because he still had his guitar slung over his back but also wore a red pirate bandanna, black boots and had a prop cutless at his left side. It was perfect! Some of the other band members had suggested his costume idea, that being Erik, Tordis, Joe and his brother, Heikki.

"Is there any rum around here? Because pirates drink rum!"

The Finn giggling as he walked up to the bar, wondering if there was any blood-related vampire drinks because Jake might like those.

Jake wouldn't miss any Halloween party. Any chance to wear a costume. He'd pulled out one of his favorites. He didn't care that Alucard had blonde hair. He still had the outfit on with blood streaming from his mouth and down on his chest. He has everything including the prosthetic ears and red contacts. He had yet to see Niko but was heading to the bar for a drink. He was sure the Finn would eventually show up.

Oh, come now! How could an angel miss something as extravagant as a Halloween party in Ziggy's universe no less. Balthazar now sporting a rather lavish crimson silk suit with matching pants and shiny black shoes. It was just a little number he carried off while visiting worlds and being in the company of rock stars called for a little glam.

"Oh, how wonderful! I do love a little trick or treat now and then."

Balthazar beaming as he walked into the communal area spotting a few of the rock stars dressed up and drinking. Coming from the Nexus, Balthazar had heard Jack and some of the Dogs were around.

"I do love all the outfits, darlings. Most appropriate. Perhaps, I should have come as a stripper instead. Am I too overdressed?"

The angel musing to himself as he waltzed over towards the bar, hoping to catch the attention of whoever was around.

Hunter decided to dress up in one of his usual leopard print jackets with silk pants and white knee length heeled boots. Gilly, dressed up in a pink pastel silken suit with white shoes to match. Lars, dressing up in a reindeer jumper with antlers because his brother Harald said the costume looked cute on him.

Tordis had come as a genie from Aladdin because Ragnar said the fabric was good. Hjlamar also making comments about Martyn rubbing his lamp, which of course earned the drunk guitarist a slap.

All four now walking in heading to get a drink of wine or whatever else was being served.

Poor Ted.

He'd gotten trashed drunk with Syn and the other young Danes whilst having a blast drinking and joking around. The last thing the Brit had remembered was passing out cold on the couch with a bottle of whiskey clutched in his hand.

Now, he was awake and stumbling into what looked like a party. Pumpkins and spooky stuff everywhere? Was it Halloween already? Ted was still trashed and half-asleep as he walked, nearly barging into the pumpkin carving table, rubbing at his eyes and yawning. Oh god. What was the bloody time?

Little did he know---he had been dressed up to look like a French maid.

Rekker had what might have been the best job of the day. He didn't have a costume but all the kids did. He had taken Zayda, Charlie, Choko, Donya, Ana, Tia, Sophia, and Heather. He was just piling the kids out of the car, carrying Choko since they left her chair when they went out. She had been riding on Rekker's back and shoulders all evening. Ana was carrying little Zayda and Donya had Charlie in their arms. It as a rag tag bunch that came in, Rekker signing one handed to his students and talking to the others.

He loved kids and it showed by how they were all mobbing around the ginger. All the kids had huge bags stuffed to the brim with candy.

Fredrik had managed to drag Sigurd along to the party because the man was such a grouch! Oh, maybe he should have come as the Grinch because he was a grumpy old man. The blond laughed as he tugged Sigurd's hand along then shoved the man into the communal area, avoiding a slap around the back of the head by the older Swede. It was all playful of course. Fredrik's costume being that of a wolf man. He had seen it in a shop and wanted it.

"You're such a pain in the ass."

Sigurd now lighting up a smoke and exhaling but smiling. He hadn't bothered to dress up because he didn't want to. Fuck, he hadn't even intended to come along to this party because he wanted to practice on his bass.

Boring!

"I'm going to carve a pumpkin with Mikkel. Have fun grouchy daddy!"

Fredrik laughing as he ducked another slap from Sigurd and went towards the pumpkin carving table.

Of course Joe had come as a red devil dressed in a crimson silk suit which was much too tight around his thighs, ass and crotch area. This was on purpose so that he could tease Aarne with it. On top of that he was wearing black knee high heeled boots with a thin heel.

"PEACHY!"

The Brit now drunk as usual, shouting and screaming for his Finnish boyfriend. Maybe they could have some drinks and then carve a pumpkin together? That sounded like fun. If only Joe could sit still long enough---that was the question. The man was hyped up as usual running around laughing and enjoying the atmosphere. Zack really had put on a fucking awesome party.

Of course this was mainly Rex's ideas as Weird just rolled his eyes coming into the communal area, both brothers dressed up as Ghostbusters. Mick and Gilly said they looked good but Weird just thought he looked ridiculous. What would Gloria think? Rex wanted to get drunk and find Ansgar eventually, but for now he wanted to wind his brother up.

"Don't be so boring, Weird. We're here to have fun. Gloria might get turned on seeing you like this with a big zapper gun in your hand."

Weird just smacking Rex over the head with his hand before going over to the bar to get a drink.

After any party Tom made rounds through the building, often with the other Sterlings now that they were all together. There were many reasons he had started these rounds. Watching for dangers and sometimes clean up. Mostly it was to take account of everyone. He needed to know that everyone was safe and if not, he would track down where they were. When you had this many rockstars to keep tabs on you had to do this.

Most had stayed, even Jack and Rekker and all the children. Moving through the main room he's not surprised to see the blondes all in the side room. The younger band members often hung out together. As expected Mikkel, Fredrik, Ansgar, Sam, Sigurd, Syn, and not too surprising Ana, were in the room. The big fold out couch in the room beside the communal room with the TV often saw this crowd. However, there was a dark haired person there too. At first, Tom thought maybe it was Aarne or Davy but, no, this was someone else. It left Tom standing there near the huge folded out couch trying to place who this person was.

Sam had been there early because Syn had come to get dressed with Mikkel and some of the others. He didn't really have a costume unless you counted the flowers that Elsie had braided into his long hair. Sam doesn't know a lot of people so he's standing off to the side with a drink and looking for someone he knows.

Harald wasn't one for large gatherings and parties because he'd rather just enjoy some focused sport like axe throwing, then getting trashed and hear screaming rock stars in his ears. Yet, Lars persuaded the big Viking to dress up in something he wanted, which happened to be a Viking Warrior outfit. Leathers, boots and fur trimmings. He agreed to this and had his double-handed battleaxe strapped across his back walking into the party, eyeing everything up.

"Brother made come here. Where is booze?"

Even though the guitarist didn't wish to get smashed out of his head, he still wanted to enjoy himself. Maybe carve something on one of the pumpkins---some runes perhaps? A few mugs of mead with friends would be good.

It had been fucking tough talking to Jerry, listening to the harrowing account of Davy getting raped and abused by that fuckhead of an ex. A monster. Sven had gone back to his room and changed out of his costume into some of his usual attire, leather pants and a t-shirt.

He had to see Davy.

The Swede now stepping outside Davy's room, hoping he was there since he'd seen Sam run off with the singer earlier on. Sven guessing that Sam was with Davy, trying to comfort the poor boy.

"Davy? It's me, Sven."
