Zack had decided that he wanted to do something for Halloween now that he'd gotten his new costume and being a Spider-Man fan he'd gone for a Spider-Punk costume straight from his comics. He'd gotten it at a local comic store down on the Strip and couldn't wait to show Damien because he knew the Dog didn't have comics or anything fun back in Hunger City. Zack now pleased that he'd arranged a Halloween Party for the band members, their friends and family to attend inside the communal area of the apartments. It was the biggest space and there was a bar all stocked up with spooky drinks, alcoholic and non-alcoholic alike.

It would be a blast!

There were even spooky snacks with crisps and chips shaped like bats, ghosts and pumpkins. There were even actual pumpkins on a table for those who wished to carve a pumpkin alone or with friends. Zack had tried to make it accessible for all, those who wished to party and get drunk and those who wanted to do non-boozy activities too.

As for costumes---they were optional but preferred.

"Ok, I think that's it. Everyone should be arriving soon."

Zack looking around the room and hoping everyone would like what he had set-up with help from some of the others of course.

Sven shrugged and didn't think too much of it if Jake was happy then who was he to judge the man. Didn't he have some young Finn following him around? Fredrik had noticed the boy close to Jake recently and had told Sven.

The Swede snorted a giggle and then went to pinch Davy on the ass.

"He's all in." Davy liked Jake even if they annoyed the hell out of each other constantly.

That connotation. Davy spun on his heels so fast on Sven slapped him and then shoved him. "If you finish that sentence you can stay here and I'm going home."

This isn't tarty. Davy is pissed off and his eyes are wide from being scared. If he would have had a drink he probably would have thrown it at Sven.

"Then, good luck to him. His make-up and props are really fucking good."

Sven nodded and then was taken aback at Davy's reaction. At how fucking strong it was. The Swede just stood there stunned for a moment or two, wondering what was going on. Sven had only suggested that Davy suck his cock for a joke and had expected a slap but a playful one, not this reaction.

"I'm sorry. Babe, are you alright?"

Had someone upset Davy? Is this why he was acting so upset? Fuck. The Swede frowned and went to hug his prissy princess.

"He's practiced for a long time." Davy was proud of his cousin.

Davy scowled at the stun and then shoved Sven away when he tried to hug him. "No. I'm not."

Davy pulled away and headed to leave the room. Jerry had heard the slap. It wasn't the playful ones but loud and with purpose. Sam was already on his feet and after Davy storming away. Jerry reaching out to grab Sven if he tried to follow Davy. He knew the guitarist was going to need time before he was ready to see anyone.

Sven just couldn't understand what was up with Davy since he'd never seen the boy act like this since they were together. A friendly tarty slap was one thing but this---this was something else. It was as if Davy was lashing out at the Swede, shoving him away, which hurt.

"Fuck. I didn't mean to---"

The Swede's words falling on deaf ears as he watched his boyfriend storm off. Then, before the singer had time to think or to follow Davy, he was being grabbed by none other than Jerry. What the fuck was going on?

"Jerry? Davy---shit, what---what's happened to him? I didn't mean to upset him like that. It was just a playful pinch to his ass."

Jerry knew this conversation was going to have to come eventually and he feared he would be the one to have it.

"Get a drink and come sit with me." Jerry spoke as gently as possible. "Sam will take care of him."

Jerry stepped away to sit on one of the couches off in the corner away from everyone. This was going to be so difficult.

Sven just didn't know what was going on so sighed and went to get himself a drink; a large orange steaming potion which was a strong cocktail of rum, vodka and orange juice. It tasted good.

"What the fuck is going on?"

The Swede was confused, slightly hurt and pissed off with himself that he'd seemingly upset Davy. He hoped Jerry could iron all of this out somehow because Sven wanted to be spending a fun time with Davy at this party, not making him storm off.

Jerry waited for Sven to sit down. "It's what you said."

He wanted to be honest but there was no blame in his voice either. "How much do you know about what happened last year?"

Jerry didn't want to have this conversation at all but someone had to.

"What I said? But---I said would you like to suck me or something along those lines. I meant it as a fucking joke and didn't think Davy would react so strongly. I'd never hurt him and he knows that."

The Swede was shaking his head, lost almost, but then focused on Jerry when he heard his words. Last year? With Davy and that abusive bastard?

"You're talking about when Davy got attacked by some cowardly fuck?"

Jerry usually smiled easily even when things were going crazy but right now he couldn't smile.

"I'm sure he knows you won't hurt him. It was probably a gut reaction."

Jerry knew Davy trusted Sven but trust didn't get rid of trauma. "Yes. He was attacked in my bar but..." Jerry fell silent because he knew Sven was about to get upset. Jerry still felt upset about it and it wasn't even his partner. "That's how he was suffocated and the guy fucked up his throat. He forced his cock into Davy's mouth." There wasn't any delicate way to talk about this and Jerry wished there was some way to say it so it would be easier on Sven.

Sven tried to remain calm and focused as he listened to what Jerry was about to say regarding Davy and his past. But, fuck---it was hard. He could already feel the anger and unease build inside his stomach like bile making him feel sick.

The Swede got up and wanted to throw something in anger because he was raging. Fuck that---that monster! How dare he attack and abuse poor Davy like that, forcing himself on the poor boy. It was a horrific act.

"I---I need a fucking drink."

Sven went up to the bar and near smashed a glass on the floor because his hands were shaking in pure anger.

Jerry wouldn't dream of telling the man to calm down. Jerry did follow him to the bar, more to protect others than Sven.

"Maybe we should go for a walk?" Jerry offered because it was clear Sven needed time to cool off. Jerry hadn't even mentioned what he heard from Joey recently bur now might not be the time.

Sven just nodded because what else could he say right now? This was something he hadn't expected to hear coming into the party wanting to have fun with Davy and now he was pissed off and angry.

"Yeah, a walk."

The blond walked out into the cool air outside and wanted to smash something in anger. Davy had been violated by this----this piece of shit!

"Was anyone going to tell me about this?"

Jerry followed along to make sure the Swede was going to be ok, or as ok as anyone could be in this situation.

"Wewere giving Davy the time to tell you himself." Which was true. "And Sam is as devastated by it as Davy. He walked in on it happening."

Sven just couldn't even imagine how Sam felt walking in on seeing his band mate, his friend, being abused by this lowlife. The Swede's blood was pounding in his ears but he knew Jerry had to tell him everything.

"I want to know everything about what happened to Davy. No matter how fucking hard it is to hear."

The blond gave a yank on his bandanna to shove it back onto his hair before turning to face Jerry.

"It's rough." Jerry mentioned because even as an outsider, in a way, it hit him hard.

"Where do you want me to start?" Jerry wondered how far back the Swede wanted to know about because the relationship before the assault wasn't the best either. Jerry didn't much like the guy when he first met him.

Part of Sven didn't want to listen at all, just to go back to his room and get drunk alone. That, or take a ride out on his bike, forgetting everything. He knew he couldn't do that and was mature enough to listen and take it on the chin. Ulrik would want him to do this and for Davy's sake too.

"It's not."

Jerry started to pace around and push his hair away from his face. This wasn't going to be easy for Jerry either. He didn't talk about it much.

"Alright." Jerry tried to stay still so they could talk. "So, the guy started coming around two years ago. I noticed because he just became a Friday regular and I don't know if he became a regular first or he was there for the band." Jerry was being as honest as he could be. "After awhile Joey mentioned him showing up at other shows of theirs. I didn't think anything of it, a fan or something. Even when he started hanging around Davy I didn't."

Jerry felt bad about this guy being around all that time and not noticing anything. "Davy would get pissy with him sometimes and still.. You know how Davy gets. Just thought this guy was flirting and Davy was being prickly about it. Joey and I had both talked to him and he seemed alright, drunken and a little forward but nothing big."

Jerry shook his head and sighed. "We all thought it was ok except Jake. He was suspicious of him after some incident of the guy grabbing Sam's ass and sending Davy into a spiral. I feel like an ass for brushing him off now but then, everything seemed alright. One night, end of the night, we were all packing up and the guy was still there but he was helping Syn and Joey pack up the stage. I just figured the guy finally got to Davy and they were together. Davy isn't exactly open."

Jerry took a deep breath because things were getting to the bad part. this was hard. "Sam was helping Christy and I restock and clean the bar. Eventually, Syn told us that he was taking the car with Joey to unload the gear. The guy was still around and I saw him go back toward the dressing rooms and figured going back to see Davy. I thought they were dating."

Jerry had guilt over this even if logically he knew there was no way to know then. This was all hindsight guilt. "We finished up out front and Davy hadn't shown so Sam said he'd go check. Figured Davy was just back there still drinking, talking, hell, making out or something."

Jerry swallowed hard and started to shift again. "Next thing I hear is Sam screaming, like some fucking horror movie. I've never heard someone scream like that. I bolted and get back there to see Sam on the ground, bloody lipped and this guy.. fuck... fuck.." Jerry paced in a circle for a second. "Davy's against the wall on his knees, bloodied, blue looking and this guy with his cock in his mouth. I remember telling Christy and Sam to call the cops while ripping the guy off Davy. The way he slumped was so unnatural."

Jerry's clearly upset' mad at everything, even himself or maybe mostly himself. "I'm trying to wrestle this guy and get him subdued in the hall. Figured the cops would come but he got loose and Sam started to scream again. I let him go and go in Christy is breathing for Davy and doing CPR. Sam is just wailing . We call in the ambulance and Christy fucking got Davy breathing again. The fucking cops, even then caring more about my busted lip from fighting him than Davy being dead on the floor."

Jerry shook his head. "Davy spent two weeks in a coma; Jake and Sam there every fucking day. It was another month before Davy left the hospital. All the shit about not knowing if he'd speak again, not being able to sing. Davy was a fucking mess. Sam didn't talk to anyone but Jake and Davy for months."

Jerry shifted more and was ready for anything to come from Sven. "Later on, I found out from Sam that apparently the guy had come back when Davy was finishing getting dressed and apparently Davy said he didn't want to fuck the guy so he jumped him. I know Davy doesn't remember a lot of it." Jerry also knew that Davy was working with Martyn to try and remember but surely Sven knew that.

Jerry suddenly looked away and got nervous because there was more, there was the guy still being around and that was likely to cause worse reactions than the past.

Sven listened as best he could and felt pure anger and hatred welling up at this guy. This monster. The screaming----poor Sam. Everyone. This piece of shit near murdering Davy. The Swede had to pull it all together as to not punch or smash something right now. He just clenched his fists and nodded, trying his best to remain calm but the words Jerry was saying about poor Davy.

"The way he slumped was so unnatural."

This fucking piece of shit near killed Davy! Fuck!

"No----NO!"

Sven ripped himself away from where he was standing and yanked out the keys to his bike. He needed some air, something. Fuck this shithead. He needed to be locked up and put in prison with the key thrown away. No. This guy deserved to be buried alive and choked out.

This fuckhead deserved to fucking die.

The Swede swore in his mother tongue and went into the parking lot, jumping onto his bike without saying another word, revved the engine and tore away to somewhere.

In the realm of responses Jerry could imagine, this wasn't the worst. It wasn't a good one either.

One thing he did know is that Sven was in no shape to be riding a bike. A few drinks in and pissed off was not safe. Jerry stepped right in front of the bike, straddling the front wheel and stiff arming the handle bars to stop Sven from going anywhere.

"No." Jerry rarely got like this. Usually he was laid back. "You're not in your right mind."

Sven was going to have to fight him or run him down if he wanted to go off on his bike.

Sven knew he couldn't ride like this. He had drank quite a bit of booze and could wreck. No. The American was right and the Swede sighed, closing his eyes, biting the inside of his cheek before looking back up at Jerry, killing the engine but not getting off the bike.

"You're right, I'm not. That fucking murderer should be doing time in whatever jail is in this city. The law is a fucking joke. Davy---he should never have been raped by this pile of vitun paska! Fucking shit."

The Swede just hung his head before getting off the bike and slumping by the front wheel onto the floor, pushing his hand across his face where tears were forming at his eyes. Sven would never endanger his life and he had Ulrik to think of but he couldn't even think past the raw anger that was gnawing at him right now. A tight pain across his chest and his head hurt.

"We tried." Was all Jerry could offer. They had tried in courts. The guy did get a couple months for assaulting Jerry and Sam but got nothing for what happened to Davy. Jerry knew why nothing happened but that was not a topic for now.

Jerry sat down beside Sven on the ground. He's unsure of hugging the Swede but after the tears start he does put an arm around Sven for comfort. "I try to remind myself that he survived."

It was the best he could offer and now was absolutely not the time to mention the guy being around but... "I know Davy has been seeing Martyn to try and get his memories back." Jerry didn't think many people knew that Davy was seeing the shrink. "He's probably more fragile than he has been."

Sven sniffed and didn't even know what to say. He'd seen terrible things happen to people when he was selling his young body on the street. Prostitutes beaten up by their clients---but this....this was harder. Davy was someone he loved and cared for.

"I want to kill him. Bury him alive and kick his worthless body six feet under."

The Swede would never kill but the thoughts mulling around his head right now were at getting this guy and ending him. He couldn't think straight.

"Davy's been seeing Martyn? I didn't know."

"You better not try without taking Jan." Jerry tried to bring some humor into the darkness. Jan had said some similar things not long after the assault.

Jerry wanted to be honest and shrugged. "I'm not surprised he hasn't if this is how you react to hearing about what happened." Jerry didn't mean it as an insult, but he could understand how the Swede's outbursts wouldn't help Davy deal with whatever was being dredged up.

Jerry stroked the singer's arm where his was around him. "You're not the reason he reacted that way. He's... fuck.. I can't imagine what he's going through."

Sven shook his head, sighing, knowing he couldn't just track down this guy and beat him to a bloody pulp. Davy deserved someone to be close to him---to love him in his time of need. If the boy was getting his memory back then he didn't need Sven acting like a complete fucking blockhead, getting angry, and threatening to do stupid things.

"I can't help the way I feel and want to act right now. It's more I don't like being kept in the dark about stuff regarding Davy."

The singer just felt frustration at that but knew it was no one's fault. Davy was fragile and Sven wanted him to feel like he could be safe with the Swede.

"I love Davy and want to keep him safe from this piece of shit. I want him to feel as if he can talk to me because I'm his boyfriend. It's what couples do."
