Shout At The Devil! [Halloween Party] Band members and friends invited

Zack had decided that he wanted to do something for Halloween now that he'd gotten his new costume and being a Spider-Man fan he'd gone for a Spider-Punk costume straight from his comics. He'd gotten it at a local comic store down on the Strip and couldn't wait to show Damien because he knew the Dog didn't have comics or anything fun back in Hunger City. Zack now pleased that he'd arranged a Halloween Party for the band members, their friends and family to attend inside the communal area of the apartments. It was the biggest space and there was a bar all stocked up with spooky drinks, alcoholic and non-alcoholic alike.

It would be a blast!

There were even spooky snacks with crisps and chips shaped like bats, ghosts and pumpkins. There were even actual pumpkins on a table for those who wished to carve a pumpkin alone or with friends. Zack had tried to make it accessible for all, those who wished to party and get drunk and those who wanted to do non-boozy activities too.

As for costumes---they were optional but preferred.

"Ok, I think that's it. Everyone should be arriving soon."

Zack looking around the room and hoping everyone would like what he had set-up with help from some of the others of course.

"Hey, mate. What? Oh yeah. Well, I don't dress up in this get-up all the time, like. Just for special occasions like this. Mostly, it's my jeans and t-shirt to live in off stage and my sparkly outfits for stage."

Mick smiled at his friend and then looked at Minoru's costume. Frankenstein? It looked like it.

"Going for the nuts and bolts monster look, eh? Frankenstein is the monster isn't it?"

The blond thought so.

No, but if you just so happened to 'take a ride on a gemini spacecraft...'

"I thought so. But if you ask Isamu, the scientist's name is Frankenstein. Not the monster. The movies apparently got it wrong." he shrugged. Clearly, he went with the classic movie version. "I dunno. I never read the book."

Given the ironic themes of the book - of man trying to play god through scientific means and failing - Isamu may have read it, but he clearly didn't let it influence him very much. If he were in the actual Victor Frankenstein's shoes, who knows what Isamu would create.

"Are you creating all these weird potion drinks then, Isamu? Being Doctor Frankenstein and all that? There's steaming potion booze glasses and a cauldron full of fruit punch. Will you lads be trying any of it?"

Zack had really pulled out all the stops when it came to spooky themed drinks.

"Joe was a right cheeky bastard earlier on---telling me he'd buy me a stuffed horse to ride around during the party."

Mick had found it a bit funny though at least.

Minoru laughed. “I dare you to drink it out of a beaker, Bro!”

Did they go the extra mile on the glassware too? Because drinking magic potions out of vials and beakers really would look cool for anyone dressed as a scientist.

“I am dressed as Doctor Frankenstein, not Doctor Jekyll.” He shook his head. “Though that would have been a fairly good costume too…”

"Drink out of a beaker, eh? That would look good with your costume and everything. The mad scientist."

Mick nodded and agreed with Minoru's line of thinking because Isamu was a scientist even without wearing a white coat and costume. The potion drinks were bloody strong though. Did the boys know this?

"Have you tried any of the steaming potion drinks yet? Erik's been busy mixing up concoctions at the corner of the bar, passing them out to guests. The one that's bright orange nearly took the skin off my tongue. It was full of fucking chilli I think."

“No, not yet.” Minoru glanced over at the bar, filled with plenty of colorful concoctions. He listened to Mick’s description of the orange one and immediately decided, not that.

Isamu clearly echoed that sentiment.

“Is there something you would recommend should we want to keep the structural integrity of our tongues intact?”

And no, for the record, the twins had no idea how strong the drinks were going to be. Definitely weaker than angel booze, though. And maybe weaker than some of the crazy stuff Ivar could whip up.
